Description

A delicate tribute to the afterlife of plants, this original ink illustration captures the quiet elegance of natural decay. Part of my 2022 Inktober project, this piece explores the fragile beauty of botanical forms as they transition beyond life—an intricate dance of structure, texture, and shadow.

Each sketch is rendered in archival ink on Khadi paper, a handmade cotton rag paper cherished for its strength, texture, and rich, organic character. With its soft deckle edges and tactile surface, the paper becomes part of the artwork—its fibers echo nature’s resilience and impermanence.

Details:
✦ Medium: Archival ink on artist-quality Khadi paper
✦ Paper Composition: 100% cotton rag, made from T-shirt cuttings
✦ Dimensions: 15 x 15 cm
✦ Features: Deckle-edged on two sides, naturally textured surface

It is a timeless piece for collectors who appreciate the poetry of nature and the art of slow, mindful creation.

Please note: This original drawing is sold unframed. The price does not include a frame, allowing you the freedom to choose one that best suits your décor.
