About me
My life as a botanical & natural history illustrator
I’m Patricia, a botanical artist with a deep passion for nature and its intricate beauty. From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the world of plants, and this fascination has shaped my work as I strive to capture their delicate details through traditional watercolour and drawing techniques.
As a member of the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) and the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA), I am dedicated to supporting and promoting the art of botanical illustration. My work reflects my respect for the natural world, and I aim to highlight the unique beauty of each plant I illustrate, from the most common species to the rarest and most obscure.
For me, botanical art is not just about creating accurate representations, it’s about celebrating the vital role plants play in our ecosystems and our lives. Through my illustrations, I hope to inspire others to appreciate the incredible diversity and importance of the flora around us, encouraging a deeper connection to nature.
Whether working on commissioned pieces or personal projects, my focus remains on bringing nature’s intricate forms to life and sharing the stories of plants through art.
